Irene Jane

Hello
In early 2022 I suddenly lost my mother-in-law Irene to cancer, 3 months after diagnosis. Little did I know that my own Mum, Jane, would follow suit, 3 weeks after walking into A&E with facial swelling. Cruelly my Mum was to succumb to the same cancer.
Since then I have lost my close friend Amanda in November 2023 to breast cancer just months after she given the all clear. My Dad John then suddenly died of a heart attack January 2024 and my Nan a few weeks later.
The reason for sharing this isn't to illicit sympathy but to explain the reason Irene Jane exists. Sometimes the memories, thoughts and feeling can feel overwhelming and so this blog is selfishly, a way to lighten the load.
This blog is in memory and honour of all those loved and lost. The thoughts and stories I share will be personal, honest and vulnerable.
If you or someone you know has lost someone, I am sorry. I hope the posts here help you feel less alone in your grief and memories. My hope is that the words and information found here helps others. Sharing is also a way forf me to celebrate and remember those I've loved and lost.
Thanks for visiting.
All my love,
Lianne x
